I feel invincible on the board, it almost makes certain aspects of riding too easy, but this only allows me to take my riding to the next level that much easier. The 'true flex' however allows the board to flex and warp underneath your feet so, in a way you do sacrifice a bit of feel.Īll in all though, i must say i feel very happy with the 2013 easy liven blunted. A Parkitect sounds like the greatest terrain park designer ever, but its actually the greatest park board ever Burtons new Off-Axis Technology might look a. Now while i do appreciate the 'true flex' of the board, having dead spots under neath your feet is not necessarily a bad thing when it comes to boxes and rails in the way that you can 'feel' much better what is under your feet because nothing is changing.
I'll tell you what i felt was bad about the channel system: Because you only have 2 screws holding in each of your bindings, and the board has the ability to flex in the channel, i found myself checking my screws a little more often as those screws came loose much easier. I suggest against getting EST bindings because they limit you to only riding channel boards. Once you find the stance you like trace your bindings with a sharpie for easy access.
I went from a skate banana to a 2013 burton easy livin blunted, flying v. The Parkitect, Namedropper and this years restricted custom are all one point shred sticks.
